Right on Target
We have billboard locations in prime locations along thoroughfares leading in and out of the US. Toll way advertising has been our most successful product targeting travelers willing to pay $40.00 each way to travel on these roads. These travelers obviously have the disposable income business owners are looking to reach. Billboards on other thoroughfares don’t offer this targeted advertising, tend to be shorter exposures, and blend in with other advertisements causing customers to miss the message entirely.
The are two core demographics traveling this road.
- The white collar business traveler who is in the top 1% of all wage earners in Monterrey Mexico. Monterrey is the 3rd largest city in Mexico with 3,600,000 people living in the city. Another 1,500,000 live within one hour of Monterrey Mexico.
- The wealthy families who come to the United states to shop. In 2006, the McAllen Monitor reported that the average Monterrey family stays in McAllen for 3 days and spends $2,650 per visit on average. The local hotels run an occupancy rate, year round, of 95% including weekends and there has been an increase of 400% in new hotels in just 2 years. In Hidalgo county, Visa and Mastercard reported sales made on credit cards owned by Mexican residents were up over 30% each year for the last 15 years with no change in sight. In 2007, sales were up over 50%.
